plug for hillary clinton

Images1 hillary clinton has won pennsylvania. but she needs help to continue on and win the nomination.

for those who don't know, obama is in indiana tonight.
so am i. (i've lived 17 different places, but this is where i am right now.)

obama is able to outspend hillary clinton by a large margin in each primary.
now, call me cynical. (it's okay. really. you can call me cynical.) but with my marketing background, i see the difference in something as simple as the frequency of ads run, the media buys. and i know that matters. and personally, i don't especially love the idea that political victories can be bought -- even if it's having more money to buy more media. i like to believe in something bigger than that.

so to those who read me here in indiana, let me encourage you to go to hillaryclinton.com, check out what events will be coming up over the next couple of weeks leading to our primary on may 6, and attend as many as you can.

you can also volunteer at the site.

and to those both in indiana and elsewhere, i'd also encourage you to go to hillaryclinton.com and donate whatever you can. maybe you voted for her in an earlier primary, or maybe you're looking forward to voting for her in one of the upcoming contests. but through the power of the internet, you can continue to support hillary clinton's campaign, or lend support before even going out to the polls in your state, by donating today.

you know the news coverage will be reporting how much she raises tonight, in the next 24 hours, and the next couple of days and analyzing that as a 'bump' from pennsylvania. let's be sure they get the message that the support *is* there and the 'bump' is real.

all the best!
deb

p.s. to those of you who have been guessing.....no. the new endeavor is not just about photography. photography services will be offered. but it's just a small part. i'm not entirely ready to talk about it yet. but i will soon. exciting things are in the works. i promise. (but thank you to all those who keep sending good wishes too!)

Deb, I cannot let your post pass without a comment. Obama's planning and success in focusing on a long, 50 state campaign, where the delegates are what counts (not the popular vote) following the party's rules, using the latest technology and the web to raise money from 1.5 million smaller donors is working. It is what has and will beat her.
Hillary has run an abysmal campaign from a management perspective. That is not me talking but lots of the media. She has proven to be a failure at CEO of her campaign - essentially running a company of a couple thousand employees.
Millions were wasted as she was the anointed candidate, millions more on her pollster friend Mark Penn - nearly $20M and counting.
They spent all their money - $11Om before Feb. 5, had no plans for real web fund raising and are now essentially broke as they thought it would be over.
Yes she has won some big states but she did not organize well for an entire campaign - failing to focus on the caucuses - even in Texas where she won the vote by 3%.
The brazen attempts to change rules to suit her, or count MI and FL after everyone agreed they would not since they violated the party rules(see her videos on this) make her even less appealing as a CEO/President/leader. With unfavorable ratings of 59% and 67% of voters in PA saying her smear tactics turned them off even more reason to pass on her.
Regardless of politics do we want someone who cannot run a 2000 person organization with a couple hundred million dollar budget running this country??
Indiana et al are not about votes being bought but about the Clinton's ineptitude to plan, organize and execute a plan. Just who we need as a president....a person whose only large scale management experience in a 35 year career is a dismal failure and whose strategic planning failed when going for the prize she has wanted all her life. Not my idea of a leader or CEO for our country.
No one is perfect, including Obama as we are learning, but this rookie has planned and executed his campaign brilliantly, managed the raising and spending of money well, revolutionized politics via his use of the web, with a great disciplined team and 3++ million volunteers.
Let not mention his message of hope and change that taps into the fact that 81% of Americans don't like our direction and 18% approve of Congress's job.

Lets face it Hillary blew her chance and has been out maneuvered by someone she says is not ready....
Who is not ready? As he faces the last month here he has $42 M in the bank and more coming in daily and she is broke and can't even pay her staff's health insurance premiums. But she wants to impose a trillion dollar healthcare system on us...

That is not my idea of leadership, the proof of experience or of the type of responsibility that our President should have.

I am waiting with baited breath to hear about your super adventure!
